    This photo ran in the June 18, 1916 Sunday Oregonian with the caption: "The King and Queen of Spain are carrying on a fine charity for the soldiers of the nations at war. They have instituted a bureau of investigation, which makes inquiries concerning men of one country imprisoned in another and informs their families.
