Mrs. Handley was a school teacher in early life, a great readerand always interested in educational work. Pleasing in manner, a kindand sympathetic friend and neighbor, as well as an excellent nurse, shewas greatly beloved and respected. She d. in Ashburnham, Jan. 24,1871. Children: 13454. Sarah W.
