    Thanks for locating this photo Swanq. I recognized this photo when I saw. It was taken by the US Army Signal Corps. It's original title was: "Soldiers trying out their gas masks in every possible way. Putting the respirator to good use while peeling onions. 40th Division, Camp Kearny, San Diego, California." It is Signal Corps photo #7045. We'll update the catalog record.
