This group of fit young men all prepared for cycling and athletics and dating from 1910 is today's offering from the Poole Collection. Waterpark College is/was a local secondary school in Waterford but I have lost track as to its continued existence. I love those early wide spread racing handle bars on the bicycles.

I'm guessing they are in the actual park across the road, rather than on the school grounds. Not many trees on school grounds at the time. 25" map link. The school is still there: Streetview

This is really gorgeous, Marys. These lads have been on my mind all day - wondering how many of them got caught up in WWI or the War of Independence/Civil War.
