    Atlanta Constitution - March 13, 1914 ON BENTON'S SLAYER CARRANZA IS CLOSING ................................... It is said also that the commission has gathered evidence that Colonel Fidel Avila, commanding the garrison of Juarez, ordered the execution of Gustav Bauch, a German-American, who was tried as a spy, but in whose case no verdict was rendered. Rebel officers at Juarez and at Chihuahua repeatedly have denied that he was killed. (An article in the Constituion on March 19 states that he was a railroad mechanic.)

Mex., once a candidate for Congress..........................
