The site is near the Distillery I think and a parking lot and park is there. They found some artifacts when they dug up in around that area I think in the 90s.

The site of the Ontario Parliament Buildings was bounded by Front, John, Simcoe and Wellington Streets and built between 1829 and 1832. It became Upper Canada College and was demolished in 1903. Simcoe Place and the Canadian Broadcasting Centre are currently located on this site. Re. the Distillery reference, the "Palace of Parliament" was built between 1791-1793 at Front and Parliament. It was burned down in April 1813 as a consequence of the the War of 1812.

Extremely interesting. I've amended the map accordingly.
