    The electric trams look like ghosts. The right hand one is not level either. It's sitting down at the back.

    I'm thinking that Mr Lawrence wanted to save money. Perhaps this was to be a colourised postcard, but those horse-drawn trams were just soooo last century that they had to go!

    Yes, hand-edited to move it from 1890ish to 1905+. Notice that the people drawn in are in lighter colours with straw hats, in the 1905 fashion.
