    This would be "Alexandra of Denmark (Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia; 1 December 1844 – 20 November 1925) was Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and Empress of India as the wife of King-Emperor Edward VII." She became a "dowager queen" when her husband, Edward VII, died in 1910 and her son came to the throne as George V. But this must be a drawing of her as a young woman.

    Thanks[email protected]. I believe you are correct. The British National Gallery of Art has over 400 portraits of her and several taken in 1860's show her with a similar hairstyle. We'll update the catalog record.
