Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Pictures of Interest, and we'd love to have this added to the group! What a fabulous picture from this old land steeped in history. I am very glad I came across this wonderfull site full of wonderfull old characters. The pictures deserved to be preserved and seen.

It's really something is'nt it Kookaburra? If you have a look at the site 'Pictures of Interest' you will see some more pictures from the very good National Library of Wales that you may find interesting. If I have my way we will be seeing more from this excellent site.

Really interesting. If you stood at the same viewpoint now, you would see very much the same sight. Today, the quayside built up and the cottage on the right has been replaced, but essentially it is very recognisable.
