    The New-York Tribune., February 27, 1921, Page 13, Image 35 chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn83030214/1921-02-27/ed-... reports that Erika Morini was to receive the late Maud Powell's violin after Powell's husband had been impressed at Morini's debut less than a month before.
