We move from the wilds of South America to the sunny South East, to be entertained by a lovely group photo of candidates at the IT[G]WU congress in Waterford. I am thinking as it’s Friday that we will raid the virtual petty cash box, and award one virtual hot cross bun for every confirmed named delegate. Fill your boots!
+++ UPDATE +++
Tentative, but good-ish identifications here of some labour heavyweights, e.g. William O'Brien, Thomas Kennedy, William McMullen. Also, a suggestion that Cathal O'Shannon, father of the RTÉ broadcaster is here too. The location is no bother to us at all. This is the unmistakeable Waterford Courthouse, beloved of generations of Flickroonies as it was Poole's favourite outdoor spot for large group photographs.
