Original handmade poster entitled “Tune In to the Radio Broadcast Victory Quiz,” promoting the Radio Broadcast Victory Quiz hosted on Raleigh, NC, radio station WPTF every Saturday night starting on April 10 of an unspecified year during World War II. The quiz was presented by the Citizens Service Corps of the Wake County (NC) Civilian Defense. Poster features black-marker silhouettes of a man standing at a cabinet radio turning the dial, as a woman sits in an arm chair with her feet on a stool. The poster also has the logo of the Office of Civilian Defense on the bottom in the characteristic blue, red, and white symbol. The poster was created by B. E. Moore [1940s] [Poster has pieces of celluloid office tape on portions of the poster from it being hung up for display].
