    According to the Boston Globe, May 12, 1923 www.newspapers.com/newspage/430295379/ he was on the steamship President Wilson bound for Europe via the Azores. "Mario Giordano, 17. of Brooklyn, who has written the music of several popular songs, sailed with his father, mother and two sisters to finish his musical education in Italy."
