The pencilled title reads Castlemacgarrett, I think, but I may be wrong. We make an overdue visit to the Wynne Album to view this absorbing photo. Even though it is obviously staged, it does leave us with a few questions to answer. Either way I do not fancy the horses’ chances of jumping that gate and if it was running today at the Galway races in the Latin Quarter Handicap at 8.15pm, I would look for a better specimen of equus ferus caballus to carry my fiver!
