Mount Wilson is in the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park. The original house, Dennarque, was built in 1879 for former Aide-de-Camp to the Governor, Edward Merewether. The original gardens were designed by Charles Moore a Director Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.
