    A kind of tickertape device but the speaker is interesting

    In case people can't read the detail The speaker device is made by Tower MFG Corp and is called Little Spitfire. The other device is marked with "Oscillation Control" "Filament Rheostat" and Tuning Condenser. There is also a little plate partially obscured that has the word receiver on it.

    Tower Mfg were based in Boston and made radios and speakers.

    I think one is simply a tickertape machine and the other a radio reciever/transmitter
