en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Dana_Gibson "Charles Dana Gibson (September 14, 1867 – December 23, 1944) was an American illustrator. He was best known for his creation of the Gibson Girl, an iconic representation of the beautiful and independent Euro-American woman at the turn of the 20th century. His wife, Irene Langhorne, and her four sisters inspired his images." A picture that looks as though it was taken on the same occasion was published in the New Britain herald. November 11, 1924, Image 14 chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn82014519/1924-11-11/ed-... and indicated that they had sailed for England on the Majestic a few days before.
