In case notes disappear again: Photos on the wall in the background: trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/229133454 - the Sydney Sun, 3rd July, 1938...'Ginger Megs Meets Connie'...pic evidently taken at Frank Godwin's studio in the US...I gather the version that appeared in the Sun was photoshopped...but otherwise it looks to be the same pic... trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/247355679 - the Sydney Daily Telegraph, 24th September, 1938...'MRS. JAMES BANCKS, photographed at the two-year-old trials at Victoria Park yesterday, with her horse Esperanto, which came first in one of the trials.' This was Banck's 2nd wife, Patricia (nee Quinnan)....his first wife, Jessie (nee Tait) died in 1936... trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/247819391 - the Sydney Daily Telegraph, 3rd October, 1939...'Women Who Own Racehorses'...the photo of Patricia Bancks on the desk to Bancks' right appears in this article...
