east.madison.k12.wi.us/ 2222 E. Washington Av. Madison, WI 53704 2021 Streetview www.wisconsinhistory.org/Records/Property/HI102453 "While the entire Madison East High School was designed at one time, its historic-period design was built in sections between 1922 and 1939. Designed by Frank Riley, the main block was completed in 1922 with other blocks being constructed in 1925, 1932, and 1938-9. The school was planned not only to relieve the overcrowding in the city's only other public high school, but also to present a quality educational and community facility to Madison's rapidly growing east side." I think "Edison" in the caption is probably an error.
