Frederick Blackburn started as a junior in the library and became Conservation Officer. In 1963 when the School decided to have its own bindery in the library Frederick Blackburn was responsible for setting it up. He met his wife at LSE - Eileen Geraghty from the Library periodicals department. He retired in 1984, but continued part-time conservation work.
