The postcard features the Sir John A. MacDonald memorial statue at John and King Street in Gore Park in downtown Hamilton with the War Memorial situated in the background.

The postcard is addressed to Mrs. Lloyd [Mummert], 535 [So] McKinley, Alliance, Ohio. The transcription reads: "We are touring Canada today. Certainly fine I am enjoying is very much. Mrs. Stoffer." The verso has a 2 cent green Canadian stamp with the cancellation stamp titled "POST OFFICE GOD SPEEDS BUSINESS". The return stamp is dated August 26, 1927, 5:30PM, Hamilton. The number 1134101 is printed on the recto. The postcard corners are slightly bent.
