The postcard features a man in the gardens at Reservoir Park located in Bartonville near Crown Point in East Hamilton.

The postcard is addressed to Mrs. [Frend], 166 Charlton Ave., Hamilton, Ont. The transcription reads: "I will come up Thurs. evening instead of Wed. as I have to go to a birthday party Wed. evening. H.E. Pattison." The verso has a 1 cent green Canadian stamp featuring King Edward VII and is cancelled by the post mark dated 1907 Winona, Ont. The return stamp is date September 3, 1907, Winona, Ont. The verso also has stamped in purple "The Petrie Collection Niagara Falls Public Library". The postcard corners are bent. The recto has an upside down post stamp dated September 3, 1907, Milton, Canada.
