Description: Drysllwyn, in Cadell Street Auchenflower, was the home of Mr and Mrs Maldwyn Davies. It was a twenty room, two storey home and was purchased by the Methodist Church in 1944 for 12,000 pounds. The home was erected in 1906 by Mr Davies father, a prominent Queensland mining identity. The builder was Alex McDonald and the architect was Claude Chambers. It features spacious verandahs facing southwards. The property was originally set on 20 acres of land.
